into our property at the base of Mount Macedon.

The Space
A carefully curated space for discerning travellers. Warm and cosy in winter with a wood-burning fire and outdoor firepit. Fine linens, cosy woollen throws and natural textures bring the space to life. Light and spacious in summer with soaring ceilings, modern amenities and a unique mix of vintage and luxury furnishings.
Gorgeous french doors lead to a sunny, private courtyard garden surrounded by escallonia hedging and pear trees.
Practicalities include ample parking, breakfast provisions (including eggs from our free-range hens and our house-made granola), heating & cooling, electric blanket and firewood in winter.
The Barn is the perfect country escape at any time of year!

Nestled in Woodend, only one hour from Melbourne, our property is your gateway to the Macedon Ranges.
Shops, cafés, wineries and beautiful nature trails are at your doorstep! Visit a local farmers market, climb Hanging Rock or drive up to Mount Macedon and explore the stunning views.
Whether you want to explore nature or immerse yourself in local food and produce, there is something for everyone!

We understand that for many guests, part of staying is meeting local people and getting local information. We are very happy to chat with guests about our property and the surrounding area and make recommendations of what to do in this lovely part of the world!
Although the usual minimum stay is 2 nights we will occasionally accept single night bookings which will incur a $50 supplement. Please feel free to contact us to enquire.
